I post rare left-wing songs and music compilations.
Most songs I post have been digitised by me off of records from around the world that I've collected, though some are from more obscure parts of the internet, have been submitted by viewers, or are even original songs created for the channel. It is for this reason that I don't generally take requests, since if you've heard of it, it typically doesn't fall under the category of "rare". There are some exceptions, though, so if you think you've stumbled upon something truly rare (RUclips links will be ignored), feel free to message me on Twitter.
I post music from a wide variety of left ideologies, movements, or countries, so it would be pretty foolish to assume I agree with the ideology, movement, or country in any given video. I'm just an archivist, so try not to read too much into the songs I post. Just sit back and enjoy the music even if you disagree with it politically.

رفرف يا سام - Fly High, SAM (Soviet-Syrian Friendship Song)
During the Cold War, Syria and the Soviet Union maintained close relations, culminating in a treaty of friendship and cooperation in 1980 and a joint space flight through the Interkosmos program in 1987. The title of this song refers to the SAM (surface-to-air missile) S-75 Dvina missile systems sold to Syria by the Soviet Union, additionally making reference to other projects that the Soviets assisted with, such as the building of the Tabqa Dam. Despite all this, this song is not a work of the Syrian government, but of Syrian communists grateful for Soviet assistance.

How so?
@despacito4668 so most modern yiddish speakers live in New york (hasidic dialect) where the "R" sound has changed to a Spanish "R". Second almost every vowel has changed (most "ey" sounds are now "ay" most sounds that were "ay" are now "ah" many "eh" sounds are now "ey" and the biggest difference is that "ooh" became "eeh" and "uh" became "ooh".) 3rd many words have changed as yiddish moved from Europe to Israel and America, many new hebrew and English loan words replaced old yiddish words.
@despacito4668 and honestly even the suffixes in words that still are used today make it so difficult for me (Yiddish is my first language) to understand a lot of what is said in old yiddish videos.
@despacito4668 I'll give you some examples; old yiddish for "me" is "ich" today it is "eech" old yiddish for "you" is "du" today it is "dee". "Mine" was "mayn" now it is "mahn" "to be" was "tzu zayn" now it would be "tzee zahn" and the list goes on
